quite a worthless post, again :) i'm qood with these..

During the last period at school, we had to design atmosphere lamps by using different kind of exotic fruits (such as bananas, oranges, pineapples, carambolas etc.) as the base of our design. I got stuck with the idea of a banana-lamp, so I decided to follow my intuitions and draw couple of sketches which turned out to be quite OK. We were allowed to combine different materials together such as metal + wood mixes but I ended up doing my lamp from different metals only. I succeeded to finish it in time and the teachers gave me H4 for it which is the 2nd best mark at our school :) I was quite surprised as in the end, I didn't like the lamp that much..It's not necessarily the best atmosphere lamp for our home though we have quite warm colours in our kitchen and living room..But for me, it just too yellow and I don't even like bananas :)))) At the moment it's in our kitchen but I don't know for how long..What you think of my GREAT BANANA-LAMP?? :)))

I just woke up, it's unpossible to sleep when the rest of my family is up - I could hear my brother and dad talking already 4 hours before I completely got up from the bed. Now my mom's baking baked rolls in the kitchen and my dad has cooked a delicious moose-roast for all of us.
Later on the day, I'm going to visit my grandmother with my dad. My granny is 82 years old and still, happily living in her own house close to the city. She had left a birthday envelope for me when she had dropped a visit at my parents' couple of weeks ago. I just decided to go to thank her personally, it's so kind of her to remember my birthdhday 'tho I've been an adult for 5 years already :)

I'm already missing Mika and our cats tho' I'll see them already tomorrow! I must ask from my brother if he's leaving on the same day so I could travel with him again. However, now I'll go to the kitchen and taste my mom's baked rolls -  the delicious scent has already reached me and made me hungry as hell!

I just arrived to my parents' place, a little town 100km up to North. Didn't expect the weather to turn so quicly into such a horrible snowstorm after 20mins of our leave from Joensuu. My second oldest brother, Juha (29yrs), offered me a ride as he was paying a little visit for his mother-in-law in Joensuu and was now going to stay the weekend at my parents'. I eagerly accepted to come with him as I hadn't seen him for a half year or so (he and his girlfriend are both living in Southern part of Finland which makes it so difficult so see more often), however, I was also glad I could spare those 10 euros which I had planned to use for a traintrip earlier in the morning.

Anyway, the cartrip didn't take longer than an hour and as I was plundged to read Jane Austen's novel ''Pride & Prejudice", so I could have sit another hour without feeling impatient or bored. I'm not enjoying the current weather here as I can't accept an idea of snow IN APRIL, no matter how normal it would be for Scandinavian climate.

I'm desperately waiting to get to SAUNA which I've been longing for all these 4 weeks of my last visit at my mom and dad. No other SAUNAS have as good and softest ''LÖYLY'', sauna bathing. I'm sure I'll be able to forget even my unhappines with the snow, it just has such effect to my nerves. Besides, my dad had bought me 1-3 SAUNA beers, which are now in fridge waiting for me :)

today I heard more samples from Finntroll's new album ''Ur Jordens Djup'' and it sounded good, I decided to order it from online store..They have clearly changed some things in their music, at least, I got the feeling they have gotten a bit more serious touch than before..As I haven't completely heard the album, I can't say my final opinion but I'm hoping to find those old, good trollish melodies which make Finntroll ''THE'' Finntroll. Mika had also seen their new music video today, it's from the song ''Nedgång''. I want to see it, too, as Mika was praising it so much :)

Darn, how I hate swedish :) I can understand it quite well but it's just getting on my nerves when I have to do some translations..Besides, I haven't studied it for 3 years..At least I remembered the words ''jord'' and ''djup'' without checking from dictionary :-)

I also ordered couple of Korpiklaani's albums and I also listened a bit their forth coming release. I'm happy to notice that the band has decided to make more songs in finnish as it sounds a lot more better. I never learnt to like the singer's bad english pronouncion, brr. But well, this new album, I'm definitely going to buy it when it comes in stores.

I took off my bridge-piercing, the one which was between my eyes. I'd have loved to keep it but it has started to grow out, unfortunately : / It came for a surprise it happened already after 8 months.. But well, the piercer who made it gave his word of warning on that day and I understood it might not be a long-standing piercing. I kind of miss it already, now there's only 2 red tiny scars which look a bit funny but they'll fade away in 2 weeks..


I did a little shopping in local 'World Shop' which specialize in Fair Trade goods from Asia, Africa and Latin America. I bought chili-pepper-marine salt spice which looked worth of trying as I like the taste of chili in food and then a little package of mint flavour incense sticks which the shop's assistant recommended to me. She's actually a distant friend of mine who I don't see that often 'tho we are living in the same town, however, it was nice to see her for a long and share couple of words. She also noticed my missing piercing, sometimes is even scary how observant people can be.


I also entered to one pub with my friend on my way back home and I ordered one long drink and one cold beer to myself which were delicious. I was in a good mood as the weather has turned back to spring-like as it was snowing yesterday! It would be shitty if the winter would do 2nd coming, huh..But well, everything's possible here in up North, I wouldn't be surprised if there would be snow in summer..

I just changed the layout :) I haven't written here for ages..
I'm just finishing my beauty beer, then I'm ready for bed. 

I haven't been myself today. Somehow I ended up seeing nightmares last night and woke up before 6.00am.... I wasn't able to catch the sleep again and I just rolled in the bed....It was really annoying....I didn't want to leave the bed either because it was so early....I could have started to read something but the room was too dark for that.....And because Mika was still in sleep I'd have only disturbed him by switching the lights on....So...such a nice starting for the day.....


Anyway...Today's mail brought me a real surprise - I've gotten 3 letters!!:))) I couldn't believe it....I haven't received any letters for a half year or so. I didn't have any ideas what it was all about until I had read them.....Then I remembered what I've done month ago.....I had mailed somekind of correspondence addy to finnish text-TV.....GO me :D I really didn't remember of doing so.....I can't remember what kind of add it was either.....quite annoying but well, at least I got couple of answers:))) It was nice to receive finnish letters for a change.....One of them was actually quite interesting, so I've thought to answer her.....She's 23 yrs old metalhead girl from Helsinki and her boyfriend plays a bass in Amoral which is death metal band.....I noticed that we had many things in common and we might even meet in Tuska this year!!:) So.....


I also ordered a new digital camera today....Hp photosmart m307 3.2mpix....My current digicam has only 2.0 mpixels and the lightning system has been also a bit broken since last November when I dropped it at bar's floor:/ I'm hoping to get the new one for the First of May, so I can take lots of photos then....:) I'm a bit worried if we can have fun outside....The weather forecast wasn't very promising, there might be little showers at times......I'm just so fed up of these raining days:/......Let's hope it won't rain!!
